Today...I wish I could have slept in SO bad! The T-storms here are crazy...last night was really crazy! Good thing I was at school in the building with a tornado shelter *just in case*.  I like rain but no bueno on the thunder and lighting.

Soooo my save the dates arrived yesterday! WOOHOO!! I bet they arrived AFTER I went and picked up my first package at my parents yesterday. So I will be making a trip to pick them up today so I can send them out and then I can post the picture of the FABULOUS save the dates Kris made on my wedding website. EEP! Next up...invitations...gotta get the wording on that nailed down first though.

What am I not looking forward to? Cutting out 200 leaves on cardstock. Besides the fact that I couldn't find the blue or teal color cardstock at Jo-Ann's that Linda bought for our escort board. Of course! Anyone want to help me with this massive, time consuming project? Anyone? at all? Yeah didn't think so :( haha!

I have to figure out how to make a tree to hang all these leaves on too. Kinda clueless in that area. I think there will be a lot of trial and error heh.

Got to see a friend I haven't seen in ages last night for her birthday. I miss that girl and am looking forward to hanging out with her again soon. I got to see recent pictures of her kids and holy crap they are getting so big and are as beautiful as ever!

If you're not busy(all one of you that read this haha!) I am dancing at the City Arts Festival Friday night at 9 in the arts district of Dallas(closest landmark to where we will be dancing...Booker T Washington high school I think) The whole celebration looks to be 4-5 blocks big! Oh there is a website...www.dallascityarts.com

I am pretty sure Miller or Milne or whoever sees me today won't be too happy. The dances we are doing...well 2 of them involve "fighting" and i throw myself to the ground a lot in my solo. I think my whole ribcage moved last night. It felt like I had just gotten an adjustment and I thought to myself 'well that can't be good...'. We will see today lol.

I am excited about July 4th weekend. David and I are going to the coast! I am pretty sure(even though it's a small one) this will be our first "vacation" together. Yes I know that is sad considering we have been together for 6 1/2 years lol. I am hoping it will be a fun weekend. My supervisor has a house at Surfside Beach and my coworker who is a few months younger than me is going and bringing her fiancee too so at least we will have another couple our age down there even though my supervisor is pretty cool and fun outside of work.

As much as I love dance and will miss it, I am glad we are getting 6 weeks off for the sole fact that my body needs to unbreak asap. I am going to be stupid and crazy and audition for the role of Roxy for the Chicago musical this fall semester(if we get the rights to do it of course). My wedding is exactly a week before opening night. Yes I postponed our honeymoon so I could be in Chicago! But it gives us an extra 2 months to save up for it so it is probably a good move anyways.

We are about 5 months away from the wedding.  I need to get cracking on my projects!

wedding! its coming along...i let Linda have her way and we are having a dinner...at least its a place i LOVE! but still...the only big thing left to do is get the linens and pay off the venue(which my dad will be providing for haha) and then all the do it yourself yumminess and getting the little things done and paying off the big things lol

We took our engagement pictures Thursday afternoon and Steve(with Silver Screen Photography) showed us a couple on his camera after he took them and i can not WAIT to see all of them!!!! at least it will only be a week!! (well 5 days now!)

save the dates will be designed by first weekend of June and i can not wait to see those either!!! Kris is so talented I'm really excited to see what she came up with! the guest list is giving me pains...so many people I want to invite and not enough space :(  And it will be hard to tell some people they can't bring their bf or gf because they haven't been together more than a year. Sorry but I had to place limitations somewhere or I would REALLY be sol on who I want to invite(more than I already am) Thankfully(?) everyone that David wants there is in the wedding party so I get to invite more of my friends LOL

I am seriously at my wits end(which means David is at his wits end because he gets to bear the brunt of my end of wits) with the whole roommate thing. I can't stand it!!! There is always something they are doing that is just discourteous and because David doesn't care...I get to be the bad guy because I care that there are dishes piled high in the sink..and on the counter..and on the stove..and that it REEKS and it STILL takes them over a week to get it taken care of after being asked to...and it's STILL a mess...although the smell isn't as bad...at least the laundry isn't piled 3 feet high in the hallway...it's now piled 3 feet high in the laundry room. which is the size of a small closet. WOO! Now there is some random friend of theirs that is sleeping here more than 3 nights a week and is randomly over here...which I will demand that if he is going to be over here that much...he can start paying rent and utilities. This is not your mamma's house!!! Seriously this wil lbe the longest 5 weeks ever...well it's already been the longest 5 months ever...even with me being really busy with dance, wedding planning, work and school. blech. i am just ready to be able to come home and relax in a CLEAN, quiet, solitary environment...is that really too much to ask? I mean i really don't get it....

I applied for a job at the Cowboys stadium part time. Should be interesting...I desperately need the money...going to the chiropracter without insurance is absolutely kililng me..and im not even paying full price at this time!!! which is another thing...

Back in March, my neck started giving me problems and then it progressed to my left shoulder blade area. I got a few massages but relief didn't last more than a few hours. So I tried to grin and bear it til my insurance took effect with my work(June 1). Well it got to the point(especially after the dance concert) that it hurt to breathe deeply among other things. That's never a good thing! So I went to the chirporacter Kris is going to and they were awesome enough to work something out with me until my insurance started. And it has worked thus far even though I am still having a lot of problems. Apparently my neck adjusts easily and my ribs are quite stubborn. They are getting adjusted every time I go and I am still having pain in my chest and back although it is not as much it's still there and I am ready for it to be gone so I can dance full out again and start being more active and maybe actually get more sleep. They only took xrays of my neck for now and from that they were able to tell that my spine is twisted, I have lost the curve in the bottom of my neck(that therapy is quite unpleasant). My hips are also uneven(but I already knew that) the right side is higher than the left. But Gypsy has said I have my neck back after all these adjustments..and I do feel I have more range of motion. I am just ready for my ribs to start cooperating

What else? well I'm sure a ton...since it's been over a month...but I am tired and it's only 10pm. WTF?! I've also had a headache all day...started last night actually...very annoying.

OMG! Me and Lisa and her sisters will be driving down to Houston Sept 24 to see... BLINK 182!!!!! EEEEEPPP!!!! SOOO excited!!! and lawn seats are only freakin 20 bucks!!! we would see the show in Dallas except...we have dance that night. LAME!!! but we love them so much there is no way we can miss the show so we are driving to Houston on a Thursday to see them LOL we are so flippin excited!!!

so much for updating often! LMAO!

im still at Fittings Unlimited. what a company! talk about frustrating at times! LOL from the accounting side at least. which im not even doing that much of :-| which kinda ticks me off bc that's what i was under the impression i was going to be doing. otherwise i wouldn't have taken the job! so im like 1/4 accounts payable 3/4 overseas purchasing/imports and 1/2 overwhelmed at times! :p but it's a steady job and i won't complain...all the time :p

The dance concert is May 1 and 2 and i highly recommend you coming to see it! We are doing All That Jazz from Chicago and a jazz piece to Lady GaGa's poker face and 2 modern/contemporary's. serioulsy so much fun! this whole week i have been sore. didn't help that i ran tuesday night. but i was seriously SO freakin frustrated and pissed off that I had to do something or I wouldn't have gotten my homework done or studied for my test. but no complaints except trying to walk :p

haven't been on WoW in awhile...at least not to actually play. i totally had no clue what to do once i got on LOL

oh yeah got engaged on 3-3-09 :D EEP! david did a FANTASTIC job on the ring. seriously couldn't have done better! i was REALLY surprised it was so big! but such is david..always giving more <3 

so now im really heavy into the wedding planning and kris is totally keeping me in check LOL thank you my artist friend :p Vicci from high school is my wedding coordinator and i can't wait til we can start meeting and getting ideas from her as well! i found AWESOME invitations that i am in love with and REALLY want to use. but i think Linda is trying her best to get me to go the cheaper route(ok with shipping, printing, rsvp cards and extra envelopes its only $350 for seriously awesome and unique invitations) and now i feel like im on a deadline bc she has to return what she bought and the ones that i liked out of the ones she bought she got on sale and i don't even have to send out invitaitons for another 5 months!!! i don't want to make that decision now.

and i really need to find shoes for my dress! i think i've decided to dye them to match my dress...you won't see them that often but all the opinions i've gotten so far from other brides is to do it! 

and NO i don't care about UT! LOL people keep asking me if im a UT fan bc of the color orange i am using. just fyi...i would rather be using my bright orange! :p shoulda went with the tropical theme instead of the fall theme lol

but seriously...nothing too stressful has happened with the planning so far except one of my paymnets is lost in the mail :-| and i was sad that linda did the escort board and cutting of hte leaves without me...like that's the fun part of the planning and i so want to do those things!! i mean it looks fantastic but she did what she thought i wanted to do (even though i told her i didn't want to do it that way i wanted to do it another way) and it just added on top of things that were already weighing on me but thankfully i didn't say anything about it to her bc i don't want to seem ungrateful. bc i am very grateful she is there to help me out especially since i really don't havea lot of free time at this moment. but still.

this is turning into a long entry. but thats what happens when you don't update for 6 months hehe

oh birthday party on the 18th. i can't believe im already 24. does that seem wierd to anyone else besides me? i don't feel like i should be 24 yet lol

i'll post more later. i should really get some of this massive piles of work done :p but there is more on teh work side i would like to vent on haha!

work is going really well. i think i'm doing really well and i am betting i last more than two weeks hehe

Fundraiser for Velocity is tonight. anyone out there that wants to come support us and help us go to the dance festival in march come to the Blue Danube in Pantego :p we are doing a preview show of what we are doing in the concert(Dec 5 & 6) and tickets are $5 and the buffet is $14 which $4 goes directly to us.

Started learning my solo today and it's totally Gypsy NO frosting lol but im excited and it's to some awesome music! This group called The.Kinetic.Aspect and the song is called intermission. I know they have a facebook if you want to listen to it. it's freakin cool! 

david truck broked end of last week :/ which means we are carpooling which sucks especially since i have dance and stuff and i suck at bringing my lunch to work and actually eating it. although without a car to go get food it forces me to eat what i bring haha :-|

should have done laundry tonight. oh well. i procrastinate waaay too much heh but i am out of dryer sheets and can't really buy anything til i deposit my checks. not that i have enough money even then lol cost of living is ridiculous. should probably buy paper towels before party on friday heh something always needs to be cleaned up lmao.

Start my new job on Thursday. Kinda nervous, scared and a little sad but excited to be leaving my parents work.

Moving Canvas was disbanded as it currently is yesterday and it was a little sad but definately needed and exciting as this move is going to launch the company so far it will be unbelievable. I just hope Gypsy takes those of us who are serious about it back when she has auditions for it in a few months. That's the only reason I am sad about that. We shall see what happens. I know a LOT of people are going to come audition. A lot that are in grad school for dance and that are a lot better than me and I just really want to make this my job! Which I KNOW Gypsy can make happen once she focuses on it full time. In the mean time I have Velocity at least until May.

OH! the girl that was going to teach me and Kenny a tango piece for the December concert is MIA. SO! Gypsy is setting a solo on me!!! :D and I know Kris will love it ;) It's going to be about the election. Funny huh after our last conversation lmao ;) but the idea she has sounds really cool and im glad she isn't making it about one particular party/candidate bc I definately would not feel comfortable if it was a candidate I didn't agree with.

A lot seems to be changing and I don't like change. It's scary. It's unknown. Even though the change usually is exciting and needed and makes things better, it's not guaranteed and I don't like making decisions on the unknown lol

I went out with my friend Lisa Saturday night and had a ball. Got half my drinks paid for :D had a grande ole time! I stayed the night with Lisa even though we made plans to stay at my house but we ended up staying in Fort Worth so no worries...until I got home at 9am and the boy was already home hehe oops. I love when he comes home earlier than I expect though.

And since I'm addicted to this stuff called Biofreeze(seriously best stuff ever for sore/hurt muscles and back pain which is what I use it for lol) I put some on him bc his shoulders and neck were sore.

Picked up the trash in the computer room and living room this weekend bc the dog likes to make huge messes and i don't clean it up bc 1.) I'm not home enough to want to spend what little free time i have cleaning up after a dog i originally did not want and 2.) he's just going to make another mess so why clean it up LOL but since he was gone this weekend I cleaned up the freakin mess and vacuumed. Now I have to put away the clothes in the living room and the living room will be done for the Halloween party :D 

Next tackle...the kitchen and pool table :-| *runs away*

So Moving Canvas was supposed to perform in the Faculty Concert at TCC this week. key word = SUPPOSED TO (yes that's two shutup). What happened one might ask? well. ONE person decided she can't come to neither tech rehearsal NOR dress rehearsal but she will be there Friday for the show. Uh no. You don't dance in a venue that you haven't at least teched. this is a PROFESSIONAL company not a fun place to dance with friends. So now not only are you on the verge of being fired(which IMO should have been the last time all this drama was brought up with the LAST show) but you just gyped(sp??) the rest of the company out of dancing that was planning on dancing and had rearranged their schedules to be there. Grow up and figure out what you want and then be 100% committed or leave. for the sake of everyone else. humph.

Got a job offer of sorts today. But it only paid 11/hr and it is in North Richland Hills by Northeast Mall. HA! Not for 11/hr! not only would I be bringing home less than what i get paid after taxes are taken out but i would be spending more in gas. But the temp agency is going to contact them and see if they will go for 12/hr then I will interview with the company. Apparently they are very interested in me so that's promising.

Had emotional meeting with the parents today about work. *sigh* lots of crap going on there.

BUT! I love love love LOVE the Nightmare Revisited album! flippin sweet!!! some of these bands i haven't heard of and am going to look up their other stuff bc I like their style. Others that are well known...well i already knew they were awesome possom sauce :D

Now i better get to choreographing my 2 eight counts of movement (which turns into 6 bc we have to manipulate it 2 different ways lol) for tomorrow's class. I love Comp class!! 

Well a lot has happend since the last post haha that's an understatement. I was "terminated from my assignment" from the job I got exactly two weeks later for the most absurd reason ever. Being disruptive. WTF?! Since when am I disruptive when it matters! Whatever. So I'm back working for the parents :( still looking for another job lol

I applied for The Mint in Fort Worth(where they make the money :p) bc my friend works there and she got the job from a friend of HERS that was working there. Even if they do decide to hire me it will take liek 3 months to get past all teh governmental tape lol but the hours are fantastic and the pay is great too! 8-345! woot! 

In other news, The Moving Canvas Dance Project (the professional dance company I am on)had their first show as a company this past weekend and it was wonderful! Had a few issues with the sound system but nothing too traumatizing! That was a great experience and I can't wait for our next show! It started out rough once we were runnign it in costume bc with my giant knockers i ripped one of the costumes (talk about a blow to the self esteem :p) but fixed it and added an expander thing and made it work lol

Our little puppy isn't so little anymore :( I will have to add pictures soon(can i do that here? HAHA) he has grown SO much! he's such a good dog though(except when he eats my flip flops *tear*)

Velocity is going great so far. I am doing the tango in our concert Dec 4 and 5 which everyone should come to :p So far haven't hurt myself tooo seriously heh *knock on wood*

Moving Canvas is dancing in TCC's Faculty show next week which means I don't have to crew the show! haha

And I'm excited for the Halloween party! although my costume is hoochy :p hehe i know a lot of people think it's lame to be a whore on halloween but for those that don't look like whores this the chance to get away with it lmao! jk jk my costume isn't as bad as most. i have too much self respect to hang out all over the place and make other people uncomfortable with my non stick thin self squeezing into something made for stick thin people. i actually wear the size i'm supposed to ;) hehe

Scary first day is over and it wasn't soooo scary but i was def a lot of nervousness yesterday! Seeing as how I have only worked for my parents the past 10 years lol it was definately a HUGE step out of my comfort zone to get a job elsewhere but I did it and I'm still here!

I will give it a few weeks to see if it's something I want to stay in bc as of right now i'm only a temp to hire which is great bc i won't feel bad about leaving if i end up NOT liking lol but as long as i don't hate it, i will probably stay there for a couple years to help with the resume and the experience so that maybe the next time around it will be easier to get a job and maybe get more starting pay :p

but that's where im at

besides freaking out bc the boy procrastinated (OMG WHAT A SURPRISE!!! :-| ) about getting me money he owes so i can pay a credit card off before 1500 dollars in accrued interest from the past 2 years gets added. yeah definitely kinda ticked about that. and THEN he has the NERVE to yell at me saying how hard it was for him to get the money together...well next time pay your tickets and don't wait to the last minute to get the money especially when you've had a month and half to figure it out!!!

i hope he doesn't read this haha but whatever. i have every right to be mad.

watching the olympics...for the first time since they've started haha i am just not home enough to keep up with what's on tv. it's hard enough to remember to watch Army Wives which is one of my fave shows LOL

i need food so im out.
